Garden for a 13 year old?
Hi, Im 13 and I love taking care of things. I already have 6 flowers that I have planted and they are doing great! I can’t believe how well it is doing. I am ready for the next level… any Ideas on what I could do to make my garden prettier? Also garden items I could stick in the dirt, good bird baths, and birdfeeders? What are good ideas! Thanks!
Since you discovered the wonderful feeling of nuturing, why not grow some vegetables to feed your family? Green beans, peas and tomatoes are easy. Just make sure you grow something you like to eat:)
Birds have different preferences for bathing. Some like splashing on the ground, others like being up high in a Bird Bath. An old colorful bowl or plate with a ridge set in the ground might be nice. Try to reuse or recycle!
How about a collection of recycled junk pieces to add interest to your garden. Remember less is best!
Mosaic kits are in most crafts stores and you can make them as personal and colorful as you want.
