Birdhouses For Sale

60mm skateboard wheels, is that width or height?
haven’t skated since i was about 18 or so and want to start again now that my local area has a nice cement skatepark.
had a few questions…
wheels… they have these 54mm Birdhouse wheels on sale. Are birdhouse wheels any good? now if i went with a 60mm wheel, would that be wider than a 54 or would that give me more height than a 54mm?
what are good decks out now? looking for a deep deck with lots of pop
The MM of a skateboard wheel refers to its size in general. 54mm Wheels are smaller than a 60mm wheel. Choosing the proper size depends on how you ride. Check out this video on youtube from Expert Village, I think It will help you out a little more, and give a better explination than I can.
There is a very huge variety of Decks available. If your looking for more pop in your board, you are actually looking at the wheels you get, rather than deck. You will want a Brand Name deck for tricks and stuff rather than just going out to Walmart or other similar retailer and buying a $30 board as to the boards you get from Brand Name companies have the curves in the deck unlike walmart brand boards.
Most all decks are built the same, so it really depends on what decal you want underneath.
Decks from Brand Name companies, which are sold in skateshops or ordered from their website will run you anywhere between $40 -$70 for newer decks.
A completed Deck will run you around $120 depending on how much you customize it to your liking IE Truck Brand, Wheel Brand, Bearing Brand, Hardware Brand, Etc.
