Looking for colleges that teach the craft arts?
I’m looking for some colleges that teach the craft arts. And when I say that I’m not talking about arts and crafts where you glue popsicle sticks together to make a bird house or doing macaroni art. I mean colleges that teach you metalworking/jewelry making, ceramics, glass blowing, working with wood, book arts, fibers, etc.
Thus far I’ve found three colleges that do – Savannah College of Art and Design, Oregon College of Arts and Crafts and California College of the Arts. But I’m wondering if there are anymore out there that I just haven’t come across, specifically any in North Carolina or Indiana.

One college that I do know of is in Pennsylvania, Kutztown University. It’s not a large college but it’s a good one for the type of studies you want. And the area surrounding it is beautiful. It was one of the colleges my daughter considered because of it’s unusual courses.
